My work reflects on how I am a product of my past, the inheritor of a legacy passed on by my ancestors, and how I will in turn pass on a legacy to my descendants.
I have chosen to explore the passing on of legacies through the special relationships I have with both my grandfather and my grandson.
Images of our life events together with art created by my grandfather and I represent the DNA of these relationships and form the building blocks of a series of photographic portraits, linking the lives of grandfathers and grandsons.
